தமிழ்த்துறை

தமிழ்த்துறை சிறப்பியல்புகள்:

• தாய்மொழியாம் தமிழ்மொழியின் சிறப்பை மாணவர்கள் உணர்ந்துகொள்ளவும்,தமிழின் மேன்மையை உயர்த்தவும் வழிகாட்டல்.

• போட்டித் தேர்வுகளில் வெற்றிபெற பயிற்சியளித்தல்.

• தமிழ்த்துறையில் பட்டம் பெறுவதோடுஆராய்ச்சிப் படிப்புக்கு வழிகாட்டல்.

• நவீன கணினிவகுப்பறை மூலம் பாடங்களை காணொளிகாட்சிகள் கொண்டுவிளக்கி தமிழ் வழி கணினியைக் கற்றுக் கொடுத்தல்.

நோக்கு:

• தமிழ்மொழியில் பெண்கள் அனைவரையும் பட்டம் பெறச் செய்தல்.

• தீவுக்குள் வாழும் மாணவிகள் கல்விக் கற்று சிறப்படைய தமிழ்த்துறை உறுதுணையாக அமையவேண்டும்.

• புடிப்பை கடினமாக நினைக்கும் மாணவிகளுக்கு தமிழ்மொழி மூலம் எளிமைப்படுத்தி படிப்பதற்கு ஆர்வம்காட்டுதல்.

• மெதுவாக கற்போருக்கு எளிமையான முறையில் தமிழ்மொழி மூலம் மனப்பாடம் செய்யும் வழிகளைக் கற்றுக் கொடுத்தல்.

• அப்துல்கலாம் பிறந்தமண்ணில் சிறந்த கல்விச்சிந்தனையாளர்களை உருவாக்கிக்கொடுத்தல்.

இலக்கு:

• வருங்கால இளைஞர்கள் தமிழ்மொழி மீது பற்றுக் கொண்டு தமிழ்த்துறையில் படிப்பதற்கு ஆர்வம் காட்டச் செய்தல்.

தமிழ்த்துறையில் கட்டாயம் பட்டம் பெறுதல்,தமிழ்த்துறையை மேன்மையடையச்செய்தல் போன்ற குறிக்கோள்களை மேற்கொண்டுள்ளது.

OBJECTIVES

• To develope the system for conscious , consistent and catalytic action to improve the acadamic and administartive performance of the institution.

• To promote measures for instutional functioning towards quality enhancement through internalization of quality culture instutionalization of best practices.

STRATEGIES

• Ensuring timely, efficient and progressive performance

• Ensuring the adequacy, maintance and proper allocation of support structure and services

• Building a better internal communications

• Sharing a Networking with other institution in India and abroad

FUNCTIONS:

• Development and Applications of Quality Benchmarks for the Various Academic and Administrative Activities of the Institution.

• Development of Various Quality circles in the Institution.

• Organizations of Workshops, Seminars on quality related themes and promotions of Quality circles.

• Documentation of the various programmes, activity leading to Quality Improvement.

• Arrangement for feedback response from students, staffs and Parents on Quality related institutional process.

• Preparation of the Annual Quality Assurance Report(AQAR).

Language Lab

• A well-equipped language lab, audiovisual facilities and the library are integral components in the teaching programmes.

• These are used extensively as part of the regular teaching & learning process.

• The language lab has been partly upgraded to the digital mode.

• There are 20 workstations where students can access good quality listening material, record their own speech, interact with the teacher who monitors their performance, have conferences with the teacher & classmates etc.

• Lab hours are assigned to all the students as part of the regular schedule

• Thus, the students get to improve their spoken English through constant practice, continuous assessment by teacher and self, exposure to good listening material from the BBC, Cambridge University etc. as well as film dialogues, conversations etc.
